Interactive Mailing lists are one of the best ways of
reaching and communicating with customers without the
expense of traditional direct-mail campaigns. A mailing
list can be used by a company that wishes to distribute
news about product releases, or as a way for
professionals to share research and get feedback.
A mailing list a list of email addresses in a text
file--the member's list file. This member's list file is
associated with an email address--the mailing list
address. When a message is sent to the mailing list
address, it is automatically redistributed to each of the
email addresses in the member's list file. Online users
can join the mailing list by sending out an email, our
mailing list program will automatically add users'
email addresses to the member's list file.
We use Lyris, EZMLM (easy mailing list manager) and Majordomo list
servers. We use seperate servers to process your list to ensure super fast
delivery. We use a seperate list management server to handle your list's
subscription, unsubscription, ..etc. We use a seperate mail bounce server to
handle all bounced emails, we use multiple mail delivery servers for load
balancing to deliver your message to your list members fast. You or your company will be the list owner. You manage your
mailing list by email. Your mailing list can be an open
list (i.e. everyone can subscribe/unsubscribe to your
list by himself/herself) or a closed list (i.e. you
approve every subscribe/unsubscribe request). Your
mailing list can be an unmoderated list (i.e. everyone
can post messages to your list) or a moderated list (i.e.
you approve each post to your list).
With a mailing list, you can choose when to send your
messages to your list members, as well as what to send,
and how often.
Monthly fees: US$24.95 per month
Each list can have up to 10,000 subscribers. If you have over
10,000 subscribers, you will need to pay US$20 for each additional 10,000
subscribers. We assume your list is delivered once a day. If your list is
delivered once a month or 10 times a day. We will adjust your "subscriber" count.
Here are two examples:
A list with 300,000 members who receive messages once a month will be
counted as 10,000 "subscribers".
A list with 10,000 members who receive messages 10 times a day will be
counted as 100,000 "subscribers".
